We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word. It is completely true, without error, and is our ultimate authority for what we believe and how we live. Through Scripture, God shows us who He is, how we are to live, and how we can know Him personally.

We believe in one God, eternal and all-powerful, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, holy and perfect in every way. He loves us and desires a relationship with us.

We believe Jesus Christ is God’s Son—fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose from the dead in victory. Through Him, we can have forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternal life. Jesus is the only way to salvation, and one day He will return to make all things new.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer. He comforts, teaches, convicts us of sin, and gives us the power to follow Christ. The Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts so that we can serve others and build up the church.

We believe salvation is God’s gift to us—it cannot be earned by good works. It is received by turning away from sin (repentance) and trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (faith). Salvation brings forgiveness, peace with God, and the hope of eternal life.

We believe the church is made up of all believers everywhere, but it is expressed locally in a body of baptized believers who join together for worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and mission. At First Baptist Ross, we seek to be a family of faith that glorifies God and serves our community.

We believe baptism is the believer’s public declaration of faith in Christ, practiced by immersion in water. It symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and our new life in Him.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a symbolic meal where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice, celebrate His presence with us, and look forward to His return.

We believe followers of Jesus are called to live in a way that honors God—loving Him, loving others, and seeking to reflect Christ in our daily lives. This includes growing in faith, serving others, and sharing the Gospel with those around us.

We believe God calls us to be on mission with Him—to make disciples of all nations. This means sharing the good news of Jesus both locally in our community and globally through missions.

We believe Jesus will return one day to bring final justice and restoration. Those who belong to Christ will live with Him forever in heaven, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God. This hope encourages us to live faithfully today.
